Lynne Perrella.... who am I?

Received this fab Lynne Perrella stamp and this is the idea that came straight into my head... Who Am I Today?... which hat do i wear? I think we all feel like that everyday, my head is so cluttered with stuff i have to do, not what i would like to do! At this moment I would love to be going away for a week, take my art stuff and just do...... but that isnt going to happen. I'm so tired, been back from USA 2 years now and neither of us have jobs..... cash severely limited and many things can you do with mince!!!!!!! I still have to finish this page, so perhaps I will get chance later today!? Ciao

I made these invitations for a party. I used discarded cd's, printed the invitation on the cd printer labels and made the embellishments from polymer clay with some fibres for effect.... it was great fun to make and the party wasnt bad either...... Ciao

Cafe Nero & The Old Fish Market .....

A picture of part of what was the old fish market here in Warrington, with an extremely old pub in the background, cant remember the name! sign of age. there arent many historic buildings left, its lets pull it down and built a mall/shops. the only thing good about this was we now have plenty of coffee shops, the ubiquitous Starbucks (perfer Seattle Coffee shops) but usually end up in Cafe Nero, good coffee, comfy chairs, good company....... but not today its too cold! Need to get some basic craft supplies but I think I shall wait for a few more days see what the weather does! Keep warm my friends, Ciao.

Life is full of beginnings....

I made this for friends who were moving to a new home/jobs, I thought the saying was so appropriate. Life is full of new beginnings but I feel like I've been treading water for the last 22 months..... just seem to be going from one disappointment to another.. i get a glimmer of hope then, it all goes pear shaped. Keep positive i get told, i do then........ ah well, will 2010 be a good year? Ciao

Warrington - Snow in Bank Park

Bank Park - it looks so magical in the snow, I cant remember the last time we had snow this deep must be a long time ago... we took Mollie for a walk as she loves the snow, but she couldnt hide in this as it wasnt deep enough, she's used to a few feet to romp around in. All the Squirrels were still in bed (sensible) just a few birds looking for food. Perhaps humans should hibernate in Winter, I know some people who just dont function well in this - must be good to be a bear. Me looking really fashionable - at least i have my pink handbag! Started creating this afternoon, but I must say i dont feel motivated ........ desperate for some good news. Ciao

Alice in Wonderland

Here is a picture of the Mad Hatters Tea Party situated in the old fish market in Warrington. The market was demolished and a 'mall' built in its stead....... If I remember correctly I think that Princess Diana came to Warrington to unveil the sculpture and the mall. As the creator of the books 'Lewis Carroll' lived in Daresbury, a lovely village outside Warrington. its a lovely tribute. As you can see some wag put a hat on Alice... think it suits her! The photo was taken on New Years Day 2010 - happy new year..... Ciao
